Anand Rathi, Founder & Chairman

A respected member of ICAI, Mr. Anand Rathi is a Gold Medalist Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of experience. Before establishing his own enterprise, Mr Rathi was associated with the Birla Group. At 35, he became the President of Indian Rayon (now known as Aditya Birla Nuvo). Outstanding professionalism and earnest dedication made him a core member of the legendry late Mr. Aditya Birla’s business group, where he was actively involved in all strategic initiatives. He was instrumental in shaping up the group’s cement business and also spearheaded its foray into diverse sectors such as manufacturing and services. Over the years, this entrepreneurial venture has evolved into a widespread financial services company, under Mr. Rathi’s guidance.

Seizing the opportunity when professionals were allowed membership of the BSE, Mr. Rathi became its member and when the exchange professionalized, he became its President in 1999. As the President, BSE, Mr. Rathi was the driving force behind expansion of BOLT - the online trading system. He also set up the Trade Guarantee Fund and played a vital role in setting up the Central Depository Services Ltd (CDSL).

As a veteran in the financial services industry, Mr. Rathi is not just a renowned face in the financial circuits, but is also among the most sought-after speakers on macroeconomic matters related to policies, manufacturing, and their socio-economic impact. He is also very popular socially, and is active in philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Pradeep Gupta , Co-founder & Vice chairman

Mr. Pradeep Gupta has vast industry experience in running enterprises with varied business interests. He started his professional journey with a family-owned textiles business. His interest and love for financial markets drew him towards starting his financial services firm. He stepped into financial services with Navratan Capital & Securities Pvt. Ltd. and later joined hands with Mr. Anand Rathi to establish the AnandRathi Group.

With over two decades of rich experience in financial markets, he has played a pivotal role in laying the foundation of the Institutional Broking and Investment Services arm of the group. His ground-breaking spirit has driven the firm’s dynamic growth, rapidly expanding its footprint. With his business acumen, the AnandRathi Group has setup franchisee business and branch network across India.

Under his dynamic leadership the group has bagged prestigious awards and accolades at various fronts.

An avid investor and trusted advisor, Mr. Gupta is often seen sharing his views and insights in Media on Macroeconomic aspects, Domestic and International Markets. He is also an active member of Rotary Club of Bombay.

Amit Rathi , Managing Director

Mr. Amit Rathi is a rank-holder Chartered Accountant and an MBA from the illustrious New York University - Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He was instrumental in setting up the Private Wealth Management (PWM) and Investment Banking (IB) businesses of the AnandRathi group, and establishing them in the global markets. Led by his vision and conviction, the group has maintained strong and steady growth.

AnandRathi PWM has been adjudged the ‘Best Domestic Private Bank- India’ by Asiamoney Polls five times in a row in 2009-13. He created a strong research and advisory capability with focus on global macro and asset allocation calls.

AnandRathi IB is a pre-eminent investment bank with exclusive focus on fast growing small and medium businesses. Founded in 1994, the firm has a strong capital markets franchise that complements its advisory business with capital raising, M&A and equity trading capabilities.

Rahul Yadav , Director

Rahul Yadav joined Citibank Venture Capital International (CVCI) in 2005 and is a Managing Director with the India team. Rahul has 22 years of experience in Investment & Corporate banking. He has spent over 12 years with Citibank. Prior to this assignment he has worked with Merrill Lynch as Senior Vice President , Middle East & India , Deutsche Morgan Grenfell in India as Director & India Head Structured Finance, and Prudential in New York in Corporate Finance. He is a post-graduate from the University of Oxford, England where he studied on Rhodes Scholarship and a B.A degree from St. Stephens College, Delhi.
