Rakesh came to AnandRathi PWM after an innings of 8 years at Deutsche Bank where he last served as Vice President, Private Wealth Management. Prior to financial services, he has held key positions in exalted organizations like Hindustan Unilever and Ranbaxy Laboratories. A B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and MBA from JBIMS Rakesh unwinds with a good game of bridge, a lifelong passion!

Feroze Azeez, Deputy CEO

With a decade’s experience in capital markets, Feroze is known for his radical methods of wealth management and financial engineering, in the industry. A brilliant thinker, the structured product industry has seen many of his product innovations succeed over a period of time. Prior to AnandRathi, Feroze was associated with eminent organizations such as Religare Macquarie for three years and RBS for seven years. Feroze is a Mechanical Engineer and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with majors in Derivatives and Finance. He has a keen interest in the game of bowling and delivers guest lectures on finance at several B schools.

Sujan Hajra, Chief Economist

Institutional Investor and Asiamoney polls for the last 3 years place him among the top Indian economists. Before joining AnandRathi in 2006, he was with the RBI for 13 years in various capacities, the last being that of a Director. MA in economic and M. Phil in international trade & development - both from JNU, New Delhi - he represented the RBI and India in international levels including at BIS, IMF, SAARC, World Bank and WTO. He was an UGC fellow and authored a book and over 20 technical articles in referred journals.

Amitabh Lara, Director

Amitabh has rich experience of over 19 years across the financial services space.  Prior to AnandRathi he has held key positions in companies like Kotak, Citi Group and Enam and has gained expertise in various facets of wealth management including client relationship management, product and investments. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Amitabh is a bibliophile and a fitness enthusiast in equal measure.

Poonam Raghuvanshi, Director

Poonam has over 18 years of experience in Banking and Financial Advisory space. Her expertise lies in providing valuable advice to HNI and NRI clientele. Prior to joining the AnandRathi Group, Poonam has held key positions in reputed organizations such as ANZ Grindlays Bank, HSBC and Deutsche Bank. Poonam has been an active founder member at Deutsche Bank, lead NRI services at ANZ Grindlays Bank and headed branch management at HSBC. A CAIIB and graduate from University of Calcutta, Poonam is passionate about arts, sculptors and is an avid traveler
